Anyone can wrap a G63 in a color off the shelf. This one isn't off the shelf. The owner wanted a red nobody else would have, so we built it in two layers: a custom two-layer vinyl wrap that lands on a finish you cannot buy as a single film. Matte red metallic. Flat enough to look exclusive instead of loud, with a fine metallic flake underneath that wakes up the second sunlight hits it.
In the shade it is a deep, serious red. Roll into the sun and the whole boxy G-Wagon shimmers. A two-layer wrap is real craft. You are not laying one film, you are building a finish, and the two layers have to align perfectly across every panel or the effect falls apart.
On a G63, which is basically a stack of flat slabs and sharp ninety-degree corners, that is a test of patience. Every edge is a hard fold. Every corner wants to lift. We worked it slab by slab, kept the color and the flake consistent from the hood to the spare-wheel cover on the tailgate, and wrapped every edge in clean so the finish looks painted, not covered.
The result is a G63 that does not look like any other G63 in the city, because there is not another one in this color. And like every wrap we do, it is protecting the factory paint underneath the whole time it is turning heads. Custom and exclusive vinyl wraps, built one car at a time in West LA.
